We accept donations of clean, unused fabric at least 1 metre in length. We also accept sewing notions, yarn, and craft supplies.
We are accepting donations on two Thursdays in April: April 14 and April 21. Donations can be brought to Strathearn United Church, 8510-95 Avenue, Edmonton, from 10 am to 2 pm. Please use the alley door and ring the buzzer.
April 21 is the last day we will accept donations, to allow us time to get ready for the big sale on April 30. Thanks to all our donors and our hosts, Strathearn United Church.
Oh dear. I’m sad. I have lots of fabric to donate to your Fabric Frenzy but didn’t see it advertised until I drove around the traffic circle on 98 Ave.
It wasn’t mentioned in the Southeast Voice newspaper that gets delivered every month, nor was it advertised in either of the seniors’ centres’ online newsletters that I read — SEESA (South East Edmonton Seniors Association) or CLSA (Central Lions Seniors Association).
Actually, I think it might be seniors who are ready to part with their fabric stashes, if only they knew what to do with them. Guess I’ll have to save mine until next year. Hope I don’t miss the date again. PS: Please tell Marjorie I said hello.
