Grandmothers of Alberta for a New Generation (GANG) works to support the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. (You can read more about us on the About Us page on our website.) GANG holds an annual Shakers and Makers Market that brings hand-made and home-made crafts from a group of ambitious volunteers to you! Due to the social distancing requirements of the Covid-19 pandemic, our market is being brought to you, for the first time, digitally!
We are a small group of crafting grandmothers. The quality of our members’ products is excellent and we are very proud of our work. Venturing into online sales is completely new for us and we are so pleased to be able to offer this option to you, but Amazon we’re not! We have done our very best to describe our products accurately and to show photos that reflect the products. We are distributing these items from two of our member’s homes and simply do not have the capacity for refunds or exchanges. We hope you like the product you purchase and if, for some reason, it turns out to be not exactly what you’re looking for we are hopeful you will be able to find a loving home for it. Thank you in advance for your support of grandmothers in Africa.
This online market is being brought to you through the dedicated work of our volunteers – mostly local grandmothers! As a result, you will notice that there are a few restrictions and conditions that are unique to the online market. Please note the following:
– All payments must be made through PayPal or credit card. (It’s easy to set up an account, which you can do at the time of purchase. However, you don’t need a PayPal account to purchase through the store.)
– Sorry, we are not able to process returns or exchanges.
– Items will be available for curbside pick up only in Sherwood Park (month of September) or West Edmonton (October).
We appreciate your continued support and hope you have fun browsing the selection in our digital market!
