Our Community
Friends of GANG
The organizations and groups that make our work possible in Edmonton.
County Clothesline
County Clothesline has been a generous supporter of the GANG’s fundraising efforts. Their work to redirect fabric and other items after our fabric sale helps to ensure that all donations make an impact across the Edmonton area. Proceeds from their thrift shop supports community grants, scholarships and emergency supports.
Vimy Ridge United Church
Vimy Ridge Academy supports the GANG by providing assistance with sale set up. As part of their physical education program, students do the heavy lifting, moving tables and boxes before the sale so the our members can focus on the event.
Strathearn United Church
Strathearn United Church is the home of our weekly Fabric Frenzy donation program and annual Fabulous Fabric Frenzy sale. They generously provide space every Thursday for volunteers to accept, sort and package donated fabric, yarn, notions and craft supplies. Strathearn United Church also helps the GANG welcome our patrons to our annual fabric sale.
St. Augustine’s Anglican Church
St. Augustine’s Anglican Church hosts our general meetings and social time at their space. Their support keeps the GANG running smoothly throughout the year.
Southminster-Steinhauer United Church (SSUC)
Southminster-Steinhauer United Church hosts our annual Shakers and Makers Market. Their large community space makes it possible for us to bring shoppers and supporters together each October.
Old Strathcona Antique Mall (OSAM)
The Old Strathcona Antique Mall partners with the GANG for the annual Kids Christmas Shoppe, a much loved community event for young shoppers as well as our members. OSAM also provides space for our special event bake sales.
Reuse Centre
The City of Edmonton Reuse Centre supports GANG’s commitment to sustainability by re purposing items the GANG is unable to include in our sale. Their partnership reflects our shared values of community, resourcefulness, and sustainability.
