This fall grandmothers organized flash mobs in communities across Canada to raise awareness about the scale of the global AIDS pandemic, and the herculean role African grandmothers are playing in the response. The Grandmothers Flash Mob compilation video was released to mark World AIDS Day which is commemorated on December 1st .
